Hometown ...... the town or city that a person is from, especially the one in which they were born or lived while they were young.

Reefton is my hometown and I left in the late ‘70’s my father and grandfather had the Onlee Fruit Shop at the top of Broadway and going back to Reefton and hearing Tony Fortune speaking about Reefton bought back a lot of memories and in 2007 a website called Hometown came about because of this.

Unfortunately over the years the website was never updated as I became too busy with work – but I still received a lot of photos and information from people.

Thank you to all the people that have sent material in and given me their time, I hope I have not made too many mistakes.

New material will be added every few months so please keep sending me information and I will add this in... if you do find a mistake, please let me know...
