I worked there for two years when I left school as telegram and postman. But due to having to work on saterdays when I wanted to play rugby I left and moved to the forest service ,I remember well biking to Blackspoint and Crushington to deliver mail first thing in morning very icey, cold– and giving a ride to children on my bike from Crushington to Blackspont school one in the front mail bag and one on the back carrier . I met some great people doing this job who I am friends with to this day and it is a great pity that our mail system has gone the way it has.
